Mill Creek, WA – November 21, 2019 – DTG Recycle is proud to introduce DTG University, a management training program providing an upward mobility track for DTG employees.
Through DTG University, employees will receive extensive education from both internal and external trainers, teachers and speakers covering a wide variety of topics, including personnel management, fiscal planning and management, how to set and maintain a culture of safety, and hard skills training on physical equipment as well as office applications and information technology.
The objective of DTG University is to provide opportunities for employees at DTG Recycle’s facilities throughout Puget Sound to acquire the professional skills they need to grow into managerial roles and become supervisors and future leaders in the waste management and recycling industry.

Previously in 2019, DTG raised its minimum wage to $16 an hour with a one percent automatic bonus every 90 days for hourly employees. DTG was also a recipient of the CDRA Best Practices in Safety Award in the Gold category for 2019.
DTG Recycle currently employs almost 300 people and operates nine facilities in seven locations in Washington State. Collectively, DTG’s material recovery facilities process over 2,500 tons of debris a day.
