Mill Creek, WA – October 25, 2019 – DTG Recycle, the largest recycler of C&D, industrial and manufacturing waste in the Pacific Northwest, has increased wages for all employees to a minimum of $16 an hour. The new wage affects nearly 300 workers in Washington State. Hourly employees also receive an automatic one percent increase in wages every 90 days.

In addition, DTG Recycle has invested in a management training program called DTG University to ensure facility managers, supervisors, and high potential employees are trained to become leaders and take on new responsibilities in the growing company. DTG also offers a Succession Planning and Talent Development Program that recognizes exceptional performers and creates opportunities for upward mobility.

“We think we have the best people in this business,” said Tom Vaughn, CEO of DTG Recycle. “Our people are hard-working, conscientious, and dedicated to our mission for a zero-waste future. We increased our wages because we want to show our employees how much we appreciate their commitment to doing their jobs responsibly, sustainably, and safely with accountability to our customers, the environment, and each other.”

DTG Recycle operates eight facilities in Washington State and processes around 2,500 tons of debris a day. DTG recently acquired Recovery 1, an RCI CORR certified construction and demolition facility in Tacoma, and plans to continue expanding as well as explore opportunities in recycling innovation, such as the development of alternative fuels and new products made from recycled materials.
