Reporting:

The EPA states that in 2018 600 million tons of C&D debris was created in the United States, which is more than twice the amount of generated municipal solid waste. Green Building is becoming an essential aspect of construction, which is why DTG Recycle is a proud member of the USGBC. We can offer various LEED reporting, facility waste diversion reporting, and assist with other county or city reporting requirements. DTG Recycle has an RCI  certified facility in Tacoma to guarantee reliable recovery and recycling reporting. Reach out to us in the webform below to see how we can help you meet your project needs to acquire LEED points!

Innovative products and technology

Hog Fuel – Urban wood waste is processed through a grinder or hammer mill to produce what is often referred to as Hog Fuel. This alternative fuel is then used in biomass power operations, reducing the demand for non-renewable fossil fuels like oil or natural gas and diverting wood waste from the landfill.

Gypsum Fertilizer – Drywall from construction projects is processed into gypsum powder for manufacturing and agricultural companies throughout the northwest. Recycled gypsum can be used as a fertilizer to improve agricultural soil.

Gypsum Drywall Blocks – Washington State University, with support from DTG Recycle, is pioneering a unique technology that aims to recycle and convert drywall scraps into Drywall Waste Blocks (DWB) using a patent-pending process. Construction companies can use these blocks for non-structural walls and a variety of other aesthetic purposes.
